Distribution Terms
Last updated: February 19, 2026. This policy supplements the Terms of Service.
1. Distribution Eligibility
Music distribution to streaming platforms is available exclusively to Creator and Pro tier subscribers. Free tier users do not have access to distribution services.
2. Content Requirements
All distributed content must meet the following standards:
- Audio Quality: Minimum 16-bit, 44.1kHz WAV or FLAC files
- Cover Art: Minimum 3000x3000 pixels, JPG or PNG format
- Metadata: Complete and accurate track information (title, artist, ISRC, genre)
- Rights: You must own or have proper licensing for all distributed content
- Content Policy: No illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing material
3. Supported Platforms
We distribute to 150+ streaming platforms, including but not limited to:
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- YouTube Music
- Amazon Music
- Tidal
- Deezer
- Pandora
- SoundCloud
- 142+ additional platforms worldwide
4. Distribution Timeline
The industry standard requires a minimum of 3 weeks (21 days) from submission to release date. This allows time for:
- Quality control review
- Platform processing and approval
- Playlist pitching opportunities
- Pre-save campaign setup
We recommend submitting 4-6 weeks before your desired release date for optimal results.
5. Revenue and Royalties
You retain 100% of your royalties from streaming platforms. Audora does not take a percentage of your streaming revenue. Revenue is paid out according to each platform's payment schedule and terms.
6. Distribution Rights
By submitting content for distribution, you confirm that:
- You own all rights to the musical composition and sound recording
- You have obtained all necessary licenses for samples or covers
- You have the right to grant distribution rights to Audora
- The content does not infringe on any third-party rights
7. Content Approval
All submissions undergo quality control review. We reserve the right to reject content that:
- Does not meet technical quality standards
- Contains misleading metadata
- Violates platform content policies
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains explicit content without proper labeling
8. Takedown Requests
You can request content removal at any time. Takedowns typically process within 5-10 business days, though some platforms may take longer. Once removed, content cannot be immediately re-submitted to avoid platform penalties.
9. Metadata Changes
Post-release metadata changes are subject to platform policies and may take 2-4 weeks to process. Some platforms restrict certain metadata changes after release.
10. Platform Rejections
Individual platforms may reject content based on their own policies. If a platform rejects your content, we will notify you and provide the reason. You may be able to resubmit after addressing the issues.
11. Distribution Fees
Distribution is included with Creator and Pro subscriptions. There are no additional per-release fees. However, you must maintain an active subscription to keep your music on platforms.
12. Subscription Changes and Content Availability
Audora Music does not remove or take down distributed content solely due to subscription cancellation or downgrade.
Users may request the removal of their content no earlier than two (2) years from the original distribution date.
If a user cancels their subscription, all distributed content will remain live on digital service providers. However, Audora Music reserves the right to retain fifty percent (50%) of any royalties generated after the subscription has been cancelled.
If a user downgrades to a lower subscription tier, any features, releases, or content that require a higher-tier subscription may be restricted, removed, or rendered unavailable until the subscription is upgraded again.
13. Territory and Rights Management
By default, distribution is worldwide to all available territories. If you need territory restrictions due to existing distribution deals, please contact support before submitting.
14. Copyright Claims
If we receive a valid copyright claim against your content, we will notify you immediately and may be required to remove the content pending resolution. False or repeated copyright violations may result in account suspension under the Acceptable Use & Anti-Fraud Policy.
15. Liability
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to distribute your content. Audora is not liable for copyright infringement claims, distribution delays caused by platform issues, or revenue loss due to platform policy changes.
16. Changes to Distribution Terms
We may update these Distribution Terms to reflect changes in platform requirements or our services. We will notify users of significant changes that affect existing distributed content.
17. Contact and Support
For distribution-related questions or issues, please contact us at support@audora.music or through the support system in your dashboard. Response times are typically within 24-48 hours.
