For labels and managers

Your artists' releases, run from one account.

A label account runs up to five artists on Audora from one sign-in — their releases, their distribution, their promotion. Every artist on it is a real account of their own, with their own page, catalog and sign-in. They can see what you do in their name, and the music stays theirs.

Who it's for.

People who already do the release work for other artists, and want each of those artists to keep an account of their own rather than living inside someone else's.

What a label does on Audora.

Open an artist and you're working in their account: the same catalog, releases and Promotion Studio they would use, with your label's name above it so nobody mistakes whose hands are on it.

On the label's deskHow it works
The rosterCreate an account for an artist who isn't on Audora yet and run it for them — invite them to claim it now, later, or never. An artist who already has an account gets an invitation to join instead
Releases & distributionBuild each artist's catalog and releases and send them out through Sony Music's channel — distribution is included in the Label plan
PromotionPlan each artist's campaigns in their Promotion Studio; approved posts publish from the channels connected to that artist's account
Splits & payout detailsRecord the splits on a release and set the artist's payout details — the artist is told whenever their payout details change
CreditsOne credit balance for the whole roster. Artists on it don't pay for a plan of their own — the Label plan covers them
The agreementThe label writes the terms it puts to its artists, starting from Audora's draft, and the artist agrees to them when they claim the account or accept the invitation

Auto-posting covers TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook Pages — stories post themselves too. Instagram allows no link, poll or location sticker on a story we post for you, so the link still goes in your bio, not the story.

What the artist keeps.

  • Their own account, sign-in and public page — never a sub-profile inside the label's
  • A list, in plain words, of everything the label has done in their name
  • The right to leave the label at any time, from their own settings
  • The account, the music and the ISRCs, which stay the artist's when they go
  • In Audora's draft agreement the masters stay the artist's, with the label holding a licence for the term — what the label and artist actually agree is what holds between them

New terms from a label are only an offer until the artist agrees to them.

How you get a label account.

The same door every artist comes through, with a label's name on the form.

Asked by labels.

Can one account manage several artists?

Yes — up to five on the Label plan. Each artist is a separate Audora account with their own page, catalog and sign-in, and you move between them from one label sign-in. For more than five, talk to us.

Do my artists need to be on Audora already?

No. You can create an account for an artist who isn't on Audora and run it for them, and invite them to claim it whenever you like — or never. An artist who already has an Audora account joins your roster by accepting an invitation.

Can an artist leave the label?

Yes, at any time, from their own settings. The account, the music and the ISRCs stay theirs, and the account goes back to the plan it was on before it joined you — an artist who paid for that plan is asked whether to restart it. Whatever the artist and the label agreed between them still applies between them — leaving a roster on Audora doesn't rewrite a contract.

Whose name is on the releases?

Your label's. While an artist is on your roster, their releases go out with your label's name as the record label — the name you set in your label account's settings — not Audora's.

Does Audora do royalty accounting between a label and its artists?

No. Royalties are paid out under the distribution terms to the payout details on each artist's account, which a label can set — and the artist is told when they change. What a label owes its artists — shares, advances, statements — is between the label and the artist under their agreement, and the Label Account Terms make that accounting the label's responsibility. You can record splits on a release; Audora doesn't calculate or issue label-to-artist royalty statements.

Can I turn my artist account into a label account?

No. A label account is its own kind of account, so a label applies as a label. Your artist account stays yours, and it can join your label's roster like any other artist's.

What does it cost?

The Label plan's price and what it includes are listed with every other plan on the pricing page.
